MoviePiX is an interactive movie discovery and favorites management web app built with React and powered by the OMDb API. Users can search for movies, view detailed information, and manage their favorite list, with all data synced securely in the cloud via Firebase.
The project demonstrates robust state management with React Context API, user authentication via Firebase Email & Password, and a responsive, modern UI built with TailwindCSS and DaisyUI. It emphasizes real-world, interactive features like toast notifications and cloud-synced favorites.
Future enhancements include adding social logins (Google, GitHub), movie ratings and reviews, enriched detail pages with trailers, and a comment section. The architecture is designed for scalability, maintainability, and seamless user experience.
