Description

TaskPilot is a full-stack task management application built using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js), designed to help teams and individuals efficiently create, assign, prioritize, track, and manage tasks through a clean, intuitive, and responsive interface.

The application supports role-based workflows for Admin and Employee users, task status management, and priority-based organization. TaskPilot emphasizes a clean separation between frontend and backend, scalable REST API design, optimized database queries, and a responsive user experience built with React and Tailwind CSS.

The frontend is developed with React using a component-based architecture and Context API for global state management, while Tailwind CSS is used for responsive and consistent UI styling. The backend is built with Node.js and Express.js, exposing RESTful APIs connected to MongoDB via Mongoose for structured data modeling and efficient task operations. The project is designed with future extensibility in mind, including planned authentication and authorization enhancements.
